Privacy
Plain-language summary of what we collect and what we don't.
We use PostHog Cloud for anonymous analytics. PostHog records pageviews and outbound clicks (when you click through to a source publisher), tagged with non-identifying attributes like region (e.g. "mcallen") and language. PostHog uses cookies to recognize repeat visits within a short window; the cookies do not contain your name, email, or any other personal identifier.
What we collect
Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) records standard web request logs — IP address, user agent, request path — for operational and security purposes. We do not link those logs to individual users.
What we don’t do
- We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal information.
- We do not sell or share data with advertisers or brokers.
- We do not run ad-network tracking pixels (no Google Ads, no Facebook Pixel).
- We do not embed third-party comment systems or trackers.
Source publisher links
When you click a story, you leave this site and land on the source publisher’s page. Their privacy practices apply once you are there.
Bookmarks & preferences
Bookmarks, theme, and density settings live in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and we never read them. Clearing site data resets them.
Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we add a newsletter signup or sponsorship tracking — this page will be updated and the changes called out at the top.
